- 1. Requirement & Brief Collection
Collect client details:
- Brand name, tagline
- Industry & target audience
- Brand values (e.g., trust, luxury, modern)
- Competitor references
- Preferred colors, styles, inspirations
Understand usage: (website, social media, print, signage)
- Research & Strategy
Study:
- Industry trends
- Competitor logos
Define:
- Brand positioning
- Visual direction (modern / minimal / premium / bold)
- Concept Development
Create 2 – 4 logo concepts:
- Symbol + Typography
- Wordmark / Lettermark
Ensure:
- Meaningful concept (like growth, trust, etc.)
- Simple & scalable design
- Design Execution
Finalize:
- Typography (Primary & Secondary fonts)
- Color palette (Primary, Secondary, Accent)
Maintain:
- Balance, alignment, spacing
- Unique identity (avoid generic icons)
- Logo Variations Creation
Prepare essential versions:
- Primary logo
- Secondary logo
- Icon / symbol version
- Black & white version
- Horizontal & vertical layouts
- Clear Space & Size Rules
- Define safe zone (space around logo)
- Set minimum size for readability
- Ensure clarity across all platforms
- Usage Guidelines (Do’s & Don’ts)
Do’s:
- Use approved colors
- Maintain proportions
- Use on proper backgrounds
Don’ts:
- Don’t stretch or distort
- Don’t change colors randomly
- Don’t add effects (shadow, gradient unless defined)
- Mockups & Presentation
Show logo in real use:
- Visiting card
- Website
- Social media
- Hoardings / signage
Helps client visualize brand presence
- Client Feedback & Revisions
- Collect structured feedback
- Limit revisions (2–3 rounds recommended)
- Refine based on clarity, not confusion
- Final Delivery & Handover
Provide:
- File formats: AI, EPS, PNG, JPG, SVG, PDF
- Color codes: HEX, CMYK, RGB
- Font details
- Mini brand guideline (logo usage, colors, typography)
- Documentation (Internal)
Save:
- Final files
- Editable source files
- Approved version
Maintain version control for future edits
