On May 6th, Kanavu Startup Village had the opportunity to host the Artificial Intelligence and Data Science students from Nandha Engineering College for an insightful industrial visit focused on entrepreneurship, technology, innovation, AI, and industry-oriented learning.
The visit began with a warm welcome from the KSV team, creating an engaging and energetic atmosphere for the students. The primary objective of the session was to bridge the gap between academic learning and real-world industry practices while helping students understand how startups, technology, branding, and innovation work together in today’s evolving digital world.
Inspiring Entrepreneurial Journey by CEO Karthi Easwaramoorthi
One of the major highlights of the visit was the inspiring session delivered by our CEO, Karthi Easwaramoorthi. He shared the story of his personal and professional journey — from Annamalai Kottai to America, and eventually returning from America back to Annamalai Kottai with a vision to create opportunities through technology and innovation in rural regions.
During the session, he openly spoke about the struggles, failures, risks, and lessons that shaped his entrepreneurial path. Students were deeply inspired by the success story of ticketgoose.com and the experiences behind building and growing a startup in a competitive environment.
He also explained:
- The mindset required for entrepreneurship
- The importance of consistency and self-learning
- How startups solve real-world problems
- Why young students should focus on practical skills
- The future opportunities in technology and AI-driven industries
The session motivated students to think beyond textbooks and understand the real challenges and possibilities in the startup ecosystem.
Technology Session on AI and Skill Development
Following this, the Tech Lead of KSV conducted an informative session about the current technology landscape and the rapid transformation happening because of Artificial Intelligence.
The session focused on:
- How AI is changing industries
- The importance of adapting to new technologies
- Continuous skill development for future careers
- Competing and growing alongside AI instead of fearing it
- Real-time industry expectations from students and professionals
Students gained valuable insights into how the technology industry is evolving and the importance of upgrading their skills regularly to remain industry-ready.
Creative Branding and AI Tools in Design
The Designing Team Head at KSV then introduced students to the creative side of branding, visual communication, and content production.
The session explained:
- How professional branding is created
- The process behind high-quality designs and video editing
- The importance of storytelling in digital marketing
- AI tools used for designing, editing, and branding
- How creative teams combine technology and creativity to build impactful content
Students were excited to learn how AI tools are being integrated into design workflows to improve productivity, creativity, and branding effectiveness.

The industrial visit also included an engaging interactive session by our Director, Chitrabanu.
