Students Explore Technology and Startup Culture at Kanavu Startup Village

Kanavu Startup Village recently welcomed students from Kongu Engineering College, Perundurai, including students from B.E. Computer Science and Design and M.Sc. Computer Technology (M.Sc. CT), for an insightful field visit focused on technology, innovation, startup culture, and real-time industry operations.

The visit provided students with an opportunity to step beyond the classroom and gain practical exposure to how technology-driven organizations function in a real-world environment.

Learning from Real-World Industry Experience

During the visit, Mr. Karthi Easwaramoorthy shared valuable insights on technology, entrepreneurship, and the changing digital landscape. His interaction with the students helped them understand how technology and innovative ideas are transformed into practical solutions.

The students also gained an understanding of digital marketing workflows and technology practices, giving them a clearer view of how different teams and functions work together in a professional environment.

Experiencing a Rural Startup Ecosystem

A key highlight of the visit was the opportunity for students to experience a technology and incubation ecosystem operating from a rural setting.

The visit offered a fresh perspective on entrepreneurship and technology, showing students that innovation and technology-driven opportunities can grow beyond conventional urban environments. It encouraged them to look at their own surroundings with a new perspective and explore possibilities in technology and entrepreneurship.

An Inspiring Experience for Students and Faculty

The visit was also meaningful for the faculty members who accompanied the students. The practical insights and experiences shared during the interaction were appreciated by both the student and faculty communities.

The Kongu Engineering College team expressed their gratitude to Kanavu Startup Village for providing the students with this valuable learning experience. They also shared their interest in exploring future opportunities such as student internships, workshops, knowledge-sharing sessions, and institutional collaborations.

Kanavu Startup Village is happy to be part of such learning experiences and looks forward to welcoming more students and educational institutions to create meaningful connections between education, technology, entrepreneurship, and industry.
