On Friday, 14 August 2026, Modakurichi Constituency MLA Shanmugam visited Kanavu Startup Village and appreciated the work environment and the initiatives being carried out here.
During his visit, he shared that he has plans to start IT companies in his constituency. After seeing Kanavu Startup Village and the youngsters working here, he expressed that the visit gave him confidence that IT companies can also be successfully developed in this region.
He congratulated the team for choosing to work and build their careers from here. He also appreciated the youngsters for being an inspiration to others. While many youngsters today look towards going outside their hometowns to explore new opportunities, the team at Kanavu Startup Village is creating opportunities right here and showing that meaningful work can also be built locally.
