Complete Operational Framework
- School Onboarding Process
1.1 Initial Approach
The program may begin in two ways:
Option A – School Approaches Kanavu
- Headmaster (HM)
- PTA Head
- Social Welfare Representative
They request to start Spoken English classes.
Option B – Kanavu Approaches School
Kanavu team directly meets the Headmaster and proposes:
- Spoken English classes
- 6th to 8th standard students
- 1 hour per day (weekdays)
- During school hours
- Free of cost
Students may be:
- Selected group OR
- Entire 6th–8th batch (as per school decision)
Once HM gives approval → move to Teacher Recruitment.

2.1 Hiring Process
- Prefer teachers from nearby areas.
- Post hiring requirement in Kanavu School groups.
2.2 Selection Stages
Stage 1 – Written Test
- Writing skills
- Creativity
- Basic English proficiency
Stage 2 – Direct Interview
Check for:
- Communication skills
- Eagerness
- Knowledge sharing ability
- Classroom handling confidence
Once selected:
- Salary finalized.
- Travel allowance fixed based on:
○ Distance (KMs)
○ Vehicle mileage calculation.
- School & Teacher Confirmation
Once:
- School approval received
- Teacher selected
Proceed with inauguration planning.
- Inauguration Process
If both school and teacher are confirmed:
- Conduct formal inauguration on Day 1.
- Participants:
○ Kanavu CEO
○ Kanavu School Coordinator
○ Headmaster
○ School Teachers
○ Assigned Spoken English Teacher
The program is officially launched.

Regular classes will begin from Day 2.

5.2 Internal Reporting Groups
Teacher must be added to:
- All@KSV group (with introduction)
- All@School group
- Daily Class Operations
6.1 Class Structure
- 1 hour per day
- Weekdays only
- 6th to 8th students
- No fixed central syllabus
- Teacher adapts content based on student level
6.2 Daily Reporting – Mandatory
Attendance is valid only if report is posted.

6.3 Media Sharing Rule
Teachers must share:
- Minimum twice per week
○ Images
○ Short videos
- Leave & Substitution Policy
- The teacher must inform one day prior.
- Kanavu must arrange an alternate teacher.
- Classes must NOT be cancelled.
- Only in unavoidable situations leave is allowed without an alternative.
School sessions should not be skipped.
- Examination Policy
- One week before exams → No regular classes (Revision focus).
- During school exams → Classes paused.
- Resume after exams.
- Promotion & Branding
With HM permission:
- Wall painting promotion
- Flex standee inside campus
Execution supported by Naveen.
- Monthly Teachers Meeting
- Mandatory once per month.
- Inform group one week prior.
- Discussion topics:
○ Teaching methods
○ Challenges
○ Student engagement
○ Improvements
Coordinator should share the meeting minutes to ALL@SCHOOL group
- Teacher Training Program
- Once every 2 months.
- Organized by Kanavu.
- Focus areas:
○ Teaching techniques
○ Classroom engagement
○ Spoken English methodology
○ Confidence building methods
○ Activity-based learning
○ Reporting improvement
Attendance is compulsory.
The coordinator should document every training session.
- Feedback Mechanism
Collect feedback from:
- Headmaster
- School English teacher
Record and implement improvements.
- Sponsor Coordination
- Update sponsors through group activity.
- Maintain transparency.
- Send payment reminders professionally
- Financial Structure
- Teacher salary paid by Kanavu.
- Travel allowance calculated based on:
○ KMs travelled
○ Vehicle mileage.
