Kanavu Medical Camp 2026 – Rural Healthcare Initiative

Benefiting 100+ People from Nearby Villages

On 12th February 2026, Kanavu facilitated a successful community medical camp that benefited more than 100 individuals from nearby villages including:

  • Annamalai Kottai
  • Kottai Pudur
  • Kumaravalasu

The camp was organized by Rotary Metro Erode in collaboration with 15 doctors from PSG Institute of Medical Sciences & Research.

Inauguration

The camp was inaugurated by:

  • Pradeepa Gopinath, Village President
  • Krishnamoorthy, Local Station SI

Their presence added encouragement and support to the initiative.

Medical Services Provided

A team of 15 doctors from multiple departments participated, including:

  • General Medicine
  • ENT
  • Dermatology (Skin)
  • Women’s Health (Magalir Nalam)
  • Orthopaedics (Bone)
  • Other specialized departments

The doctors provided consultations, guidance, and basic medical screening for the public.

Camp Timings

The medical camp commenced at 10:00 AM and continued smoothly until 1:30 PM.

Hospitality & Support

Breakfast and lunch for all visiting doctors were arranged by Rotary Metro Erode.

Kanavu staff members actively supported the event through coordination, crowd management, and assisting beneficiaries throughout the camp, ensuring smooth execution.

Community Impact

The strong participation from surrounding villages reflects the growing trust and reach of community-centered initiatives. The collaboration between Rotary Metro Erode, PSG Medical College doctors, local leadership, and the Kanavu team made this medical camp meaningful and impactful.
